With the constant aging of the world population, the need for technological solutions mitigating the consequences of such a phenomenon emerges more and more. Traumatic events resulting from aging include falls, postural instabilities, blindness, and many others. Assistive technologies play a pivotal role in this context!
During the seminar, some solutions developed in the field of assistive technologies and how these "measurement systems" can be useful aids in the health care scenario will be presented.
Ruben Crispino received his M.S. degrees from the University of Catania, Italy, in 2017. He is currently a Ph.D. student with the Electric, Electronic and Information Engineering Department of the University of Catania. His research interests include sensing methodologies, multi-sensor architectures for human care and environmental monitoring.
